“Born and raised in the always tropical and culturally infused Miami, Florida, i am always inspired by the vibrant life and color that i was so often surrounded by growing up.
wanting to bring this zest and flavor with me wherever i go, i use my home as a canvas to do just that. Painting multichromatic murals on every blank surface and adorning my immediate spaces with unique found and thrifted objects and art is where i find joy. beauty can be found in forgotten items and reimagined into something bespoke and magical.”
EXPERIENCE
With a background in Interior Design, Marlee has spent the past four years creating unique and innovative work spaces for clients around North America such as PepsiCo and Fidelity Investments. Working closely with clients, spaces are tranformed and reimagined into something both beautiful and functional. working on a smaller scale, marlee has collaborated with local artists to create interesting and thought provoking pieces of art and exhibitions. These collaborations focus on sustainability, community, and giving a voice to those who would otherwise not have the space to speak.
educating young artists is another joy of marlee’s. Committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for young folx, she utilizes the arts as a vehicle to express, build confidence and self worth, and break down barriers through anti racist rhetoric.
