“Born and raised in the always-tropical, culturally infused Miami, Florida, I draw constant inspiration from the vibrant color, texture, and layered life that surrounded me growing up. That visual richness now fuels my approach to production design—treating every space as a canvas in service of story, mood, and character.
I’m drawn to transforming environments through bold color, hand-painted elements, and carefully curated found objects, using space to communicate emotion and narrative. Whether reimagining forgotten items or building worlds from the ground up, I believe beauty lives in the details—and that thoughtful design can turn any setting into something bespoke, immersive, and quietly magical.”
EXPERIENCE
Marlee is a production designer with a background in Interior Design, creating immersive, story-driven environments for film and visual media. Her work spans local indie film productions as well as commercial and corporate spaces across North America, including projects for PepsiCo and Fidelity Investments—bringing a strong balance of narrative, visual impact, and real-world functionality.
Alongside production work, Marlee collaborates with artists on installations and exhibitions rooted in sustainability, community, and amplifying underrepresented voices. She is also committed to arts education, using creative practice to foster inclusive spaces where young folx can build confidence, express themselves, and find their voice.
